India finished fifth in the women’s 25-meter pistol team final at the ongoing Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on Monday. With a score of 1727-56x, Esha Singh, Manu Bhaker, and Rahi Sarnobat placed fifth. China won the gold medal (1743-68x), South Korea took home the silver (1735-65x), and Chinese Taipei took home the bronze (1734-48x). In the women’s 25-meter pistol individual final, Esha Singh of India placed eighth with a score of 580-22x. A chance to advance to the finals was given to the top eight shooters in the field.
