The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has reportedly released the candidates’ response sheets for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the IIT JEE exam this year can now check their individual response sheets at the official JEE Advanced website, i.e. jeeadv.ac.in.

To check and download the individual response sheets candidates will have to key in their credentials and login to their candidate account. The response sheets will only be visible after logging in to their individual accounts.

JEE Advanced Response Sheet 2026: How to download

Step 1: Go to the official website for JEE Advanced 2026 – jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link which reads “Candidates responses are now available”

Step 3: In the next step, enter your registration number, admit card number, date of birth and other required credentials

Step 4: Your JEE Advanced 2026 response sheets will be available on the screen

Step 5: Download and keep a copy

After this, JEE Advanced 2026 provisional answer keys will be released on May 25, 2026 (Monday). Following this, the final answer key will be released at 10 am on June 1, 2026, and the final result will also be released on the same day.

Meanwhile, IIT Roorkee had also released earlier question papers for JEE Advanced. Candidates can download the JEE Advanced question papers by visiting the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. To check the question papers for JEE Advanced 2026:

Select the link for the question papers.

Then, choose the appropriate paper and language to download the PDF.

JEE Advanced 2026 Paper 1 Marking Scheme

Single Correct MCQ

  • +3 marks for each correct answer
  • -1 mark for each incorrect answer

Multiple Correct MCQ

  • +4 marks if all correct options are chosen
  • +3 marks if all four options are correct but only three are chosen
  • +2 marks if three or more options are correct but only two correct options are chosen
  • +1 mark if two or more options are correct but only one correct option is chosen
  • 0 marks if no option is selected
  • -1 mark in all other cases

Numerical Value Questions

  • +4 marks for each correct answer
  • 0 marks for incorrect answers (no negative marking)

Matching Type Questions

  • +4 marks for each correct answer
  • -1 mark for each incorrect answer
