Kochi: A special investigation team (SIT) of the Kerala Police on Wednesday (September 16) raised the Kochi headquarters of Reporter TV. The searches, conducted at five locations in Kochi and Wayanad, including the office of Reporter Broadcasting Company (RBC), the residences of its promoters, the Augustine brothers, and their ancestral home in Wayanad, were carried out on the basis of court-issued warrants, police said. The raids were reportedly conducted as part of a probe into alleged irregularities in a failed football event featuring Argentina’s star player Lionel Messi sponsored by Reporter Broadcasting Company.
