To reduce the timeline and support Ease of Doing Business, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs consolidated what used to be a sequence of separate applications into SPICe+, a single integrated web form on the MCA21 V3 portal. This form now covers name reservation, incorporation, DIN allotment, PAN, TAN, GSTIN, EPFO, ESIC, profession tax enrolment and bank account opening in one. As a result of the change, more than 31 lakh companies now legally sit on the MCA register.
