Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon condemned the incident and alleged that attacks on BJP offices and leaders had become a sign of “jungle raj” under the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. He questioned whether the rule of law was being maintained in the state and said the attack in Sangrur, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s home district, showed that criminals no longer feared the police.
