Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas is set to host the inaugural MLP Nations Cup, scheduled for October 30 to November 1. The tournament, which will also be a high-octane international event, will feature elite professional pickleball teams from key regions worldwide.

The competition will consist of eight teams and follow a three-day format. The first two days (Friday and Saturday) will feature round-robin matches as teams will fight for positioning and seeding ahead of Championship Sunday.

MLP Nations Cup – Format

The top teams will battle in a single-elimination bracket on the final day. The inaugural edition will have teams from key regional pickleball markets from around the world. Each team will be led by popular, respected players and ambassadors. The tournament’s main aim is to bring in top-tier talent and to mix it with regional pride and international rivalries. There will be teams from the USA and Canada. Asia will have two teams, and we will also have sides from Western and Eastern Europe, South America and Australia.

The MLP Nations Cup will also serve as the official kickoff to the 2026 Pickleball World Championships. International pride will be at stake at the MLP Nations Cup, and fans will also get to witness some top talent. The competition is expected to have a festival-like atmosphere, which will extend far beyond the court.

In a statement on social media, Major League Pickleball said, “This Fall, MLP is bringing global team talent together in a big way!⁠

“Eight international pro teams will compete in the inaugural MLP Nations Cup from October 30–November 1 at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch.⁠

“Representing the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South America, Australia and two teams from Asia, the event will kick off the 2026 Pickleball World Championships in Dallas,” it further added.
