Apple's Legal War With OpenAI Escalates as 40 Former Employees Come Under Fire

Just a week ago, Apple files a lawsuit against OpenAI accusing that the Sam Altman’s led firm got involved in misuse of trade secrets that was not limited to a few isolated incidents. The main accused in the same are Tang Tan, current OpenAI Chief Hardware Officer, and Chang Liu, who is working in the hardware team of OpenAI. Tang Tan worked at Apple for 24 years and helped design multiple Apple products, while Chang Liu worked at Apple as a senior system electrical engineer. Apple also alleged that OpenAI recruited key engineers and gained access to proprietary designs, manufacturing processes, and other confidential information.
