According to them, Ketan and Siya were scheduled to travel from Mumbai to Bali on June 6. While driving to Mumbai airport, they stopped at a food court. The family alleged that Siya returned to the vehicle, saying she had forgotten her phone. Later, when they reached the airport, Ketan discovered that his passport was missing from his pouch, forcing them to cancel the trip and return home.
