India Vs Afghanistan Highlights: India defeated Afghanistan by nine wickets to complete a clean sweep of the three-match ODI series in the last match in Chennai on Saturday. With an undefeated century and a 170-run opening partnership with Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal reduced the chase to a formality. India won in just 28.4 overs, losing just one wicket, while chasing a modest 219-run mark. Rohit scored 79 off 69 deliveries, while Jaiswal hammered an unbeaten 110 off 86 balls (14 boundaries, 3 sixes). The visitors were bowled out for 218 in 44.2 overs earlier as bowler Prasidh Krishna tore through Afghanistan’s top order, taking four early wickets to finish with impressive figures of 5/23. However, despite Krishna’s destructive spell, Afghanistan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi stood firm with his maiden ODI century, leading a remarkable recovery after the visitors were reduced to 36 for 4 in the 10th over.
