It sought a security review of dark spots and vulnerable locations, proper street lighting, functional CCTV cameras and heightened surveillance at sensitive locations, along with increased patrolling during evening and night hours around educational institutions, hostels, PG accommodations, parks, markets and routes frequently used by students.
