The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued e-certificates for candidates qualified in the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET June session. Candidates can download the certificates confirming their eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor, and PhD admission, as applicable, from the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
“The certificates for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination are now available on the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/,” the official notice stated.
According to the official schedule, the exam was held in CBT mode from June 22 to 30, July 5. A retest was conducted on September 9 and 10, 2026.
How to Download UGC NET e-Certificate
Follow the steps below to download it:
- Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, look for the certificate link and click on it.
- Enter your login credentials: application number and password.
- Click on the Submit button.
- The UGC NET E-Certificate will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save for future reference.
If a candidate faces difficulty in downloading the certificate, he/ she can send an email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in or ecertificate@nta.ac.in.
NTA UGC NET Result 2026 Statistics
NTA announced the UGC NET results on September 17, 2026. According to the statistics, a total of 1,96,491 candidates registered for the exam, of whom 1,20,355 appeared.
A total of 824 candidates qualified for JRF, 11,610 Candidates for Assistant Professor, and 23,154 for PhD.
“The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified in the information bulletin of UGC-NET June 2026 by the concerned authorities as per the due process. The results of the UGC-NET June 2026 shall be available on the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/. Candidates can log in to the website and view/download/print their scorecard,” the notice stated.
