On Instagram, the streaming platform released the trailer of The India Story and wrote, “Jo khana zindagi deta hai, wahi zindagi cheen raha ho toh? The India Story: Slow Poison in Progress, now streaming on #JioHotstar.” Shreyas plays Yogesh Patil, an army officer, who is urged into taking on the agricultural industry after the death of his seven-year-old to cancer. Kajal plays Advocate Archana, Yogesh’s wife, who joins in his fight for justice. The film also features Murali Sharma as a police officer who helps Shreyas, Manish Wadhwa as a lawyer and young Trisha Sarda as Pari Patil, the young girl whose death spearheads her parents’ mission.
