Residents in the United States are facing the brunt of loud sounds originating from huge data centres. According to CBS, many in the Memphis region have been complaining that a plant powering Elon Musk‘s data centres is so loud that residents say they’re losing sleep. Though SpaceX has said that they are investing millions of dollars in sound walls, feedback from the residents says that it has helped little to curb loud sounds so far.
