Vaibhav Sooryavanshi could finally play a home game when India and Afghanistan lock horns in the third and final T20I of the series on Thursday (September 17). Following the win in the 2nd T20I, India captain Shreyas Iyer hinted at making changes in the playing XI and giving chances to players who haven’t played thus far. India completed the series victory by wining the second T20I. “We want all of them to get used to the wicket and the conditions and also get some practice. So it would be a nice game to give opportunities to the players, especially who have been sitting out, and also change a little bit in the combination as well,” Iyer said at the presentation ceremony.
