Delhi University also revised credit structures for FYUP students under UGCF 2022 from the 2026-27 academic year. The university earlier admitted 75,948 students under FYUP in 2022, of which 40,005 students exited after the third year in 2025, while 35,943 students continued into the fourth year and with this extension and direct entry provision, DU aims to streamline research pathways for FYUP students while aligning its academic framework with NEP 2020 reforms.
