Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran are set for a serious face-off in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming Daayra. The gritty crime thriller is inspired by true events and is backed by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios. While Kareena plays DCP Ajooni Kohli, Sukumaran plays DCP Raman Kumar, standing on opposite ends of the spectrum in an entangled investigation. Infact, Daayra marks the first time that the two actors will collaborate with the director. The film is expected to be an engaging story of justice, power and the complex workings of the legal system. The makers on September 15 shared a brand new promo, ahead of its theatrical release this Friday.
