Here What’s New On The 2027 Kawasaki Vulcan S: More Torque, Braking Setup, And New Colour
The 2027 Vulcan S marks the return of torque that had gone missing with last year’s update. Though the bike has the same 649cc parallel-twin engine as before, it now generates more torque. To recall, when Kawasaki introduced the 2026 iteration of the cruiser motorcycle, it lost 1.4Nm of torque. With this, the bike generated 61Nm alongside 61hp of power. Now, the 2027 has regained the lost torque value and now produces 62.4Nm, similar to what the 2024 model made. However, the power output and the rev ranges remain unchanged. Another notable update is the revised braking hardware. The dual-disc setup continues, but the rotor sizes have shrunk at both ends. The front disc now measures 272mm, compared to the previous 300mm on the 2026 model. The rear disc now stands at 216mm from the earlier 250mm. Dual-channel ABS remains the sole electronic rider aid on offer, and the analogue-digital instrument cluster is also carried over without change.
