The NSUI, on the other hand, dismissed the allegations, labelling them “baseless and misleading”. It blamed the RSS-backed student organisation for deflecting attention from core student issues, such as soaring fees, inadequate hostel facilities, unemployment, student safety, and a lack of transparency.
