The leaders also encouraged countries to exchange best practices on the safe and ethical use of emerging technologies in education, with AI specifically highlighted. At the same time, they showed support for stronger institutional partnerships, along with exchange and scholarship programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
