He also recalled ‘Angel Device’, a portable digital assistant and voice recorder that used to be provided to Delhi University students who were visually impaired. “The recorded lecture in the class could be listened to in the hostel. It was very beneficial for a blind student,” he said. He alleged that availability of these devices has decreased, and when these devices are even provided, they are either too old or do not function properly.
