During the “Chhatron Ki Goonj“ event in Pune, a student spoke directly on stage about the ongoing fast, following which the LoP had written a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, demanding immediate relief for students and the removal of these unjust rules. The strike was successfully concluded on August 29, when the Maharashtra government accepted the students’ core demands, hence leading to the students calling off their hunger strike.
