Wasim Jaffer has shared his take on India’s performance under Gautam Gambhir. While India have won two white-ball ICC trophies under Gambhir, they have struggled in Test cricket. In 2024, New Zealand whitewashed a star-studded India 3-0. In 2025, South Africa whitewashed India 2-0 in the subcontinent. India have only managed series wins against West Indies and Bangladesh in Tests under Gambhir. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Jaffer praised India’s white-ball performance, adding that the home series whitewashes in Tests were “very bad”.
