For years, the man had been seen wandering around Majkhali and Tarikhet in Uttarakhand’s Almora district. The breakthrough came after Sub-Inspector Vinod Fartyal, the newly appointed in-charge of the Majkhali police outpost in Ranikhet, noticed him and brought him to the police station.
