Guwahati, Assam: A 30-year-old man accused of murdering his wife in Guwahati’s Hatigaon area has been remanded in police custody for seven days. The victim, 25-year-old Riya Talukdar, was found dead inside the couple’s rented apartment in Basisthapur under Hatigaon Police Station. Police said her body was found inside the residence, with her head severed and later recovered from a refrigerator.
