Released in theatres on March 22, 2024, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is based on the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, one of the prominent figures associated with India’s freedom movement. Directed by and starring Randeep Hooda, the film explores Savarkar’s early years, his revolutionary activities, and his imprisonment in the Andaman Cellular Jail. The film also features Amit Sial, Mark Bennington and others in supporting roles.
