SBI Shares Jump 3% After Q1 Net Profit Rises 10% To Rs 21,121 Crore

SBI’s shares jumped as much as 3 percent after Q1 net profit increased by 10.2 percent and NII spiked by 15 percent year-on-year for the bank. As per results released, asset quality also improved for the country’s largest lender. SBI’s standalone net profit was Rs 21,121 crore in the quarter, up 10.23 percent from Rs 19,160 crore posted in the same quarter an year ago.
