The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has announced the results for the Senior Secondary Compartment, Additional Subject one-day examination, the Secondary (Academic) Compartment (E.I.O.P) and Additional Subject examination. Students who appeared for these exams can check and download their scorecards through the official website: bseh.org.in, using their login credentials.

According to the press release, the pass percentage for the Senior Secondary examination stands at 42.55%, while the Secondary examination recorded a pass rate of 60.42%.

As per the information shared by Board Chairman Shankar Lal Dhoopar and Secretary Munish Sharma, IAS, 24,080 candidates appeared for the Senior Secondary examination, including 14,990 boys and 9,090 girls. The overall pass percentage is recorded at 42.55%.

Of 24,080 candidates, 10,247 passed the examination, while 12,281 were placed in the compartment category.

Among the 14,990 boys, 6,269 passed, and 7,645 were placed in the compartment category. Out of 9,090 girls, 3,978 passed, while 4,636 were placed in the compartment category.

The girls outperformed boys by 1.94 percentage points in terms of pass percentage.

Among the districts, Charkhi Dadri recorded the highest pass percentage at 51.13%, while Yamunanagar registered the lowest at 29.30%.

60.42% Students Pass Class 10 Exams

The officials further apprised that in the Secondary (Academic) Compartment (E.I.O.P) and Additional Subject examination, 24,380 candidates appeared. Of these, 14,731 passed, 8,425 were placed under the Compartment (Eligible for Improvement of Performance – E.I.O.P.) category, and 1,226 candidates failed. The overall pass percentage is recorded at 60.42%.

This year, a total of 15,158 boys appeared for the examination, of whom 8,885 passed. Out of 9,222 girls, 5,846 passed.

Girls recorded a 4.77 percentage point higher pass percentage than boys.

Moreover, Fatehabad district secured the highest pass rate at 82.58%, while Rewari recorded the lowest at 26.12%.

The board also informed that candidates who are dissatisfied with their scores can apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of their answer scripts by paying the requisite fee within 20 days from the date of result declaration.
