India’s Quimcy Dsouza came extremely close to securing India’s first Asian Games medal in Teqball, but the Indian star was forced to settle for fourth place after a dramatic women’s singles bronze-medal clash against Japan’s Yuina Sakamoto. Dsouza fought back to tie the match at 10-10 after going behind 1-5 in the first set, displaying incredible poise. Sakamoto, however, maintained her composure in the pivotal moments to win the opening set 12–11.
