A fast-moving vegetation fire in Spokane County, Washington, has triggered Level 3 (“Go Now!”) evacuation orders for areas north of Beacon Hill as firefighters work to contain the growing blaze. The fire, named the Valley Springs Fire, was first reported at around 3 PM local time on Monday near 5900 E. Valley Springs Road. Within an hour, the fire had expanded to approximately 22 acres, prompting emergency crews to issue evacuation orders for nearby neighborhoods.
