A relatively inexpensive missile in Iran’s arsenal has emerged as one of the biggest challenges facing American forces in the region. It serves as the backbone of Iran’s missile arsenal, valued for being affordable, easy to move, and precise, with a range exceeding 900 miles. As fighting has intensified this month, US officials, cited in a Wall Street Journal report, say Iran has been firing this missile directly at American bases.
