What Choksi Was Actually Claiming
This was the heart of his legal fight in England, and now it’s gone. Choksi is a wanted man in India, tied to a fraud case involving Punjab National Bank that runs into the billions. His UK lawsuit told a different story though. He said that back on May 23, 2021, he was snatched off the island of Antigua, beaten, then put on a boat and taken to Dominica. He claimed the whole thing had been planned in England. Five individuals were named as defendants, along with the Indian government itself.
