Troopers searched Jouppi’s 1969 Cessna aircraft and found a six-pack of Budweiser and additional beer among the passenger’s groceries, amounting to about nine gallons of alcohol. Because Beaver prohibits alcohol, the state later sought to seize Mr Jouppi’s aircraft, valued at about $95,000.
