Furthermore, AI features respond seamlessly on-device with AI without relying on any server. Other features like live translation, voice commands, and image generation will also be accessible for the masses. However, one thing that we cannot ignore is the higher costs of RAM and other things will skyrocket the prices of budget phones if they come with on-device AI. Furthermore, most of the large language models require a considerable amount of RAM, and the absence of the same can make the performance trickier for the phones. And yes, budget phones get a limited number of updates, which means the on-device AI features could get outdated in no time.
