According to police, the electric bus (registration number KA 51 AJ 6648), operated out of the Shantinagar depot, was travelling from Majestic towards Chandapura on Sheshadri Road when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle. The bus crashed into the auto-rickshaw with such force that a roadside tree and an electric pole were uprooted.
