The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has significantly revised its Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deploying elite CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) commandos in Manipur, following fresh unrest in the state and, in particular, the recent Senapati incident, Times Now has learnt. Managing law and order has now been made a key part of CoBRA training — a shift for a force originally raised for jungle warfare and anti-insurgency work.
