RJ Balaji Admits 'CG Mistake' In Suriya's Singam Scene After Karuppu OTT Release Response

In a recent interview with Cine Ulagam, RJ Balaji openly accepted the criticism surrounding Karuppu’s visual effects and colour grading. The director explained that some of the film’s CGI work, including head replacement shots, required several months of post-production and substantial upfront payments to VFX companies. He said he has always accepted the issues surrounding Karuppu. “For example, if there’s a head replacement shot, it will take almost eight to ten months to make it. To create it, we have to pay the company ahead of that time. In our situation, we couldn’t make the payment on time and couldn’t follow the deadlines that they set . There were many practical problems.”
