Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar is one of the most successful franchises in Bollywood. Both parts, which were released in a span of four months, took the box office by storm. Starring Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari/ Jameel Jamali, the first set cash registers ringing, earning over Rs 1,300 crore at the worldwide box office. Although the film relied heavily on action, Rakesh Bedi added a comical touch to the spy thriller. However, director Aditya was initially reluctant to add comedy in this film. The actor also addressed rumours of Dhuandhar script coming from Prime Minister’s Office.
