During questioning, Praneet More reportedly told officials that the viral clip was taken from one of his comedy shows which had been recorded nearly three months ago. Sources claimed that during the interrogation, Praneet repeatedly expressed regret over the incident and told officials that he had made a mistake and never expected the matter to escalate to such a level.
