The Mahindra Thar OG has arrived at Rs 10.32 lakh, and this is more than another cosmetic refresh. The 3-door SUV gets a new platform, electric steering, revised suspension, more powerful diesel and petrol engines, bigger wheels and a stronger standard safety package. Mahindra has also given the Thar a new OG identity, separating it from the larger Thar Roxx. The basic formula remains familiar: a body-on-frame 3-door SUV with RWD and 4WD options. But underneath, quite a lot has changed. The update also brings six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes and new off-road electronics across the range.
