Tata Motors has launched the Tata Intra V40 bi-fuel pickup in India. It runs on both CNG and petrol, and the standout number is the 110-litre CNG tank — notably large for this vehicle class. For last-mile cargo operators, that tank size directly addresses the most common complaint about CNG commercial vehicles: running dry on routes where CNG pumps are far apart. Add a 1,525 kg payload and a 9.7-foot load body, and this is clearly aimed at daily freight operators who want lower fuel costs without sacrificing range flexibility.
