A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Delhi’s New Usmanpur area on Sunday night, police said. The incident was reported around 10:25 pm, following which police reached the spot and found the teenager lying injured on the ground. He was declared dead, and a forensic team later examined the crime scene and collected evidence.
Delhi Police registered a case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and launched an investigation. In a swift breakthrough, police apprehended three accused, including two juveniles. The third accused has been identified as Nikki, 21.
According to police, the accused admitted to their involvement in the crime and disclosed that they had an ongoing dispute with the victim. Officials said the victim and the accused belonged to the same community. Multiple teams had been deployed to track down those involved. Further investigation is underway.
