Rohit Chandel walked out of jail nearly two months after he was arrested for allegedly harassing, stalking and physically assaulting a 16-year-old girl. The Mumbai police registered a case against Rohit under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act and other relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). After he was arrested, Krishna Kaul replaced him as Ishaan in Sairaab oppoosite Madirakshi Mundle. Recently, after he got a bail, the actor reacted to his Star Plus show going off-air. Taking to his official Instagram account, Rohit dedicated a note to his Sairaab family and beloved fans. The actor admitted that his heart is filled with ‘deep gratitude’ as the show comes to an end. Playing Ishaan was a special journey for him, and he will always cherish the memories he created with team Sairaab. He further expressed gratitude to the production team and his co-stars.
In his heartfelt note, Rohit thanked ‘Saibal dada, Leena ma’am, Sanket sir, Nitin ji, Yogi sir, Garima Dimri, Rahul bhai, and Madirakshi’. The actor also thanked Krishna for carrying Ishaan’s legacy forward after his exit.
“Your unwavering support and warmth during my tough times mean more to me than words can express you truly felt like family. To the fans, thank you for your unconditional love and constant encouragement through every phase. Though Sairaab is ending, our bond remains. I look forward to seeing you all again very soon in the next chapter! With love and gratitude, Rohit Chandel,” he penned.
Madirakshi Mundle shares moments from Sairaab’s last day
Meanwhile, Rohit’s Sairaab co-star Madirakshi also shared a reel featuring moments from the last day of her television show’s shoot. “Sairaab has been much more than just a show for me. It has been a beautiful feeling and a very special journey. While playing Nayanika, I truly lived every emotion, and somewhere along the way, she became a part of my heart. That’s why saying goodbye today feels so difficult,” she wrote in a caption to her IG post.
The actress further promised her fans that she will soon come back with a new story and a new character. Until then, she urged her fans to keep showering with the same love and blessings. For those unaware, Sairaab premiered on June 2 this year and is expected to end on September 14.
