The ZR-V, meanwhile, is expected to feature Honda’s 2.0-litre strong-hybrid setup paired with an e-CVT automatic gearbox.
Mileage Expectations
The City e:HEV currently delivers a claimed fuel economy of over 27.26 kmpl, placing it among the most efficient sedans in its class. The ZR-V Hybrid also prioritises efficiency, with a claimed mileage of 22.80 kmpl.
Rivals In India
The Honda City will continue its rivalry with established midsize sedans such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia. The ZR-V Hybrid, on the other hand, will compete against premium SUVs including the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass and Citroen C5 Aircross, while also positioning itself as an alternative to some entry-level luxury SUVs.
