According to leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is likely to continue with the same split-battery setup seen on the current model. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 already packs a 4300 mAh battery and Samsung may stick to that exact capacity this year as well. Charging speeds are also expected to remain unchanged at 25W. A recent report suggests the South Korea-based tech giant is preparing to shift to silicon-carbon battery technology, but not just yet. As per Samsung SDI documents, the company is reportedly testing 12000 mAh, 18000 mAh and even 20000 mAh prototype batteries for future devices, likely debuting with the Galaxy S27 lineup next year.
