Axar Patel achieved a huge milestone during the 2nd T20I between India and England in Manchester on Saturday (July 4). The left-arm spinner completed 100 T20I wickets and became the first-ever Indian spinner to do so. Axar was only one wicket short of the milestone and he created history by dismissing Harry Brook. The England captain slammed 39 off 15 balls. Axar pipped Yuzvendra Chahal to achieve this feat among the spinners. Chahal, who hasn’t played a T20I for India since 2023, scalped 96 wickets. His international career has now ended and Chahal isn’t in contention to make his return.
