‘Larger-than-life’ is a once in a lifetime concept to experience for most. But the Ambanis of course, don’t fall in that category. September 14 was a big day – all over the country, but especially in Mumbai, as Ganpati Bappa was welcomed with pomp and show across homes and pandals. The Ambani’s too, welcomed their own Ganapati idol – Antilia Cha Raja with a grand puja come soiree. And of course, all of Bollywood showed up, decked in their finest. The best of looks however, paled in front of hostess Nita Ambani. Draped in a tart tangerine silk saree with purple and gold accents, Nita adorned her neck with a massive piece of wearable art, one that is sure to keep everyone talking right till the end of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
