The fire was brought under control at 12:25 am. According to Dr Mugdha, CMO of Nanavati Hospital, six people were injured in the incident, of whom two were declared brought dead. The fire was initially declared Level-I at 10:08 pm and escalated to Level-II at 10:16 pm. BMC fire brigade, police, the electricity distribution company, 108 Ambulance and BMC ward staff were mobilised.
