Around 25,000 people, including VIPs and VVIPs, are expected to attend the Independence Day programme at the Red Fort. Security forces have deployed snipers on elevated positions to keep a close watch over the venue.Around 15,000 to 20,000 Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel will be deployed for security at and around the Red Fort on August 15.
