Gold Rate Today (October 2, 2026): Gold prices remained volatile as investors tracked movements in both domestic and international bullion markets. With the Indian bullion market closed on Friday, October 2, for Gandhi Jayanti, there is no fresh physical-market trading activity today. Before the holiday, gold prices in Delhi had climbed to Rs 1,49,800 per 10 grams, including applicable taxes. Meanwhile, gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) moved lower. The 24-carat gold futures contract declined 0.1 per cent, or Rs 142, to Rs 1,47,724 per 10 grams, compared with the previous close of Rs 1,47,866 per 10 grams.
