When Qarib Qarib Single released in 2017, she was already an established star in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada movies. In recent years, actors with a legacy in South Indian cinema are mocked for their Hindi accent. While Parvathy has impressed the audience, she defended her colleagues against bullies.
